This introductory class will familiarize you with medicinal herbs and their uses. We will talk about infusions, decoctions and herbal teas. We will learn how to make them and get an overview of which herbs help with which ailment. Medicine can be right in your own back yard. Herbs can help in areas like: relaxing, anxiety, building the immune system, pain, and insomnia!

We will taste some herbal remedies and make some together. Then we will tour the medicinal herb beds in the Pacifica Gardens and talk about how they can help us.
