WelcomePacifica Gardens is a 30,000 sq. ft. urban agricultural project located on an abandoned soccer field at Linda Mar School, 830 Rosita Road, Pacifica, CA. Projects underway: biointensive food gardens, permaculture food forest, native plants, culinary and medicinal herbs, fruit tree mini-orchard, large-scale composting, elementary school field trips, youth community service program, adult composting workshops, food donation program. Programs in development: school garden demonstration, backyard edible garden demonstration, community education classes and workshops.

Herbal Basics Class Sunday, March 21, 2010 3 - 5pm at Pacifica Gardens 830 Rosita Road, Pacifica, CA | This introductory class will familiarize you with medicinal herbs and their uses. We will talk about infusions, decoctions and herbal teas. We will learn how to make them and get an overview of which herbs help with which ailment. Medicine can be right in your own back yard. Herbs can help in areas like: relaxing, anxiety, building the immune system, pain, and insomnia!
