Gardening by the Numbers
We keep records of key activities in the garden to help us determine specific crop yields, total yield of the garden, and other garden performance parameters. This information helps us understand the health and production capacity of the soil so we can improve it over time. We currently collect:
What's harvested, when, and it's weight.
What portion of the harvest is donated.
How much compost is sifted and thus used by the garden.
The amount of green waste brought in to be composted.
